🎉🐻 WHAT A WAY TO START DAY 2! 💙🤍 Our SCES Cheer & Dance Teams brought ALL the excitement as they welcomed our Cubs back for Day 2 this morning! 📣💃✨ Their energy, smiles, and school spirit helped kick off another great day at SCES—and our Cubs were ready to Love. Learn. Lead.! 🐻💙 As we head toward dismissal, we’re celebrating another day filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and lots of Cub pride! What a great second day! 💙🤍

First Day, Full Hearts 💙🐻 What a first day it was, SCES Cubs! 🥹💙 From our brand-new kindergarten friends taking their very first steps into the Cub family to our 5th grade leaders showing them what it means to be a Cub, today was filled with moments that made our hearts smile. 🐻✨ There were so many smiles, so many new friendships, so many excited faces, and so much FUN as our Cubs spent the day getting to know one another, learning new routines, and making memories together. We couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to our year! And now, Cubs… we’re just getting started! 📚✏️ Tomorrow, we’ll dive even deeper into learning, growing, and discovering all the amazing things this school year has in store. Attention Kindergarten Families:

Cub Families, Just a reminder that we'll be at SCES on Tuesday to hand out car rider numbers! 📅 Tuesday 🕚 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. 🕓 4:00–6:00 p.m. We will also be here to hand car rider numbers out for Kindergarten Open House and the 1st Day of School. While you're here, be sure to stop by and visit our PTO! They will have official SCES T-shirts available for purchase. We recommend that Cubs have an SCES shirt for field trips and other school events throughout the year. If your child doesn't have one, no worries! They are always welcome to wear a blue shirt or any SCES shirt they already own. Open House for kindergarten will be Wednesday, August 12th from 4:00 to 6:00. We will also have popsicles on the playground that day. As we get ready for an exciting new school year, please remember that we're here to help. What an amazing second day of Kinder Camp! Our newest Cubs had another day full of learning, laughter, creativity, and fun. From making new friends to exploring exciting activities, these little learners have already shown us just how brave, curious, and kind they are. A huge thank-you to our incredible staff members and volunteers for helping make these two days so special. Your dedication and love for our students truly make SCES the best place to learn and grow. 🏫🌊 We're Diving into Learning at SCES! Our teachers have been working hard to get classrooms ready for another amazing year, and our incredible custodial team has been working just as hard to get the building ready for Open House next Monday and Tuesday. We can't wait to welcome all of our Cubs back! 💙🐻 We know everyone is excited to find out their child's teacher. 🐻💙 What a wonderful first day of SCES Kinder Camp! 💙🐻 Today was filled with smiles, new friendships, exciting activities, and lots of learning. Our newest Cubs jumped right in as they rotated through stations, explored their new routines, and began getting ready for an amazing school year ahead. A huge thank-you goes to the Spencer County Extension Office for graciously allowing us to use their facility. We are so grateful for their support and partnership with our school community!
