Assistant Principal's Message

Hi!  My name is Cindy Clyde and I am the Assistant Principal at Spencer County Elementary School.  I graduated from OU in Business and worked in the business world for 10 years. After having kids, I knew changing career paths to education was my calling.

I went to UK to get my masters in education, received my Rank One by becoming a National Board Certified teacher in the area of CTE, and then obtained my principal certification. I recently got married and moved to the Louisville area from Lexington. I have two kids who currently attend U of L. 

I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with my family.  This is my 15th year in education and my 1st year as an Assistant Principal.  As an AP I strive to serve and support the teachers at SCES in order to help all students in our building be successful! 

I am excited to be part of such an amazing family at SCES!
